This unique piece of handbag/shopper is handwoven using sisal and recycled wool from jumpers. Wool may take longer than sisal to decompose. This is a great way to recycle wool from damaged clothes.(35cm D x 30cm H)Handmade by a self help group of lady weavers in a remote rural village in Kenya. Due to the arid/dry environment the women rely on weaving before the rainy season. Working directly with the weavers ensures fair trade and sustainability bringing financial security and providing additional income to sustain their livelihood.We use 100% locally grown environmental friendly sisal with high quality fibres.  These creations are handmade and each piece is unique, therefore colour may slighly slightly from the picture.
