The Bam's Art Shop is an African decorative homeware provider. Here you will find sustainable handwoven baskets and art pieces. Africa is where The Bam's Art Shop main source of inspiration comes from and it is right there that we make all these beautiful homeware pieces. Our mission is to value the African culture and design as well as creating opportunities for women and young men from these communities. One of our core value is to let our artisans have full power over their pricing strategies. We choose to work with the finest artisans, setting up long-term and fair collaborations with our suppliers. The artisans we trade with have control over their future, make their own decisions to lead the dignified life everyone deserves.

Fatoumata - Production Manager - Senegal
Fatou is a native senegalese. She loves travelling around Senegal and meeting weavers across different villages. She is particularly proud of creating opportunities for women in the rural villages. She strongly believes in women dedication towards their family and communities and she is proud to invest her time on the little projects that she conducts with the women. She says " our women are brave and hardworking. Even with the lack of electricity and transport, they love the art of weaving."

Joyce - Production Manager - Kenya
Joyce is a Kenya native. She coordinate the sisal basket production in Kenya. Joyce travels around the villages to offer opportunities to women to sell their baskets. She has been working with The Bam's Art Shop for the past 3 years. Thanks to our partnership, women no longer need to spend all day in the market, they can weave in the comfort of their home, while attending to chores and looking after their kids.
